First Time Homebuyers....Get Qualified NOW!

First time homebuyers have been given a RARE opportunity. The West Virginia Housing Development Fund is offering 30 year, fixed rate loans at 3.5 percent interest to low and mid income buyers who qualify. Income and and home price limits vary by county and the funds are available on a first come, first served basis.

Registration on the day of the ride will begin at 10:00 am at Triple S Harley Davidson on Cheat Road; riders will leave at noon. Registration fees will be $20.00 per hand and $10.00 for those not wishing to draw cards. All registrants will receive a free T-shirt and a barbecue dinner after the run at Archie's. A $1,000 prize will go to the best poker hand.

TAX CREDIT DEADLINE - What You Need to Know

As part of its plan to stimulate the U.S. housing market, Congress last fall approved the Extended Home Buyer Tax Credit. This extended the deadline for the First-Time Home Buyer Tax Credit until April 30, 2010 and expanded it to include repeat buyers.
