A Penny Saved.....

Trying to save for a down payment for a home might seem impossible, but little changes do add up.  Here are a couple of things to consider:

Make it automatic   Set up a savings account  speciffically for your down payment and commit to putting a comfortable amount into it every pay check. 

Get rid of things you dont need   There are so many ways to sell things online.....Your trash may be someone's treasure! 

Skip the morning latte   Paying $4.00 for a cup of coffee is a bit indulgent.  What can you do without or make cheaper yourself.

Consider getting rid of your landline    Most people use their cell phones as their primary means of communication, so why continue to have a landline?  Also consider video-chatting, which is often free, instead of costly long distance phone calls.
