In our opinion, fall is when Morgantown is at its most beautiful! This month there is much to do and see in the area:

WINE & JAZZ FESTIVAL – Pack a blanket and and listen to live jazz while sipping local wine. This year, Wine and Jazz is set for September 21 and 22nd at Camp Muffly. Tickets are $22.00 per person per day and includes a souvenir wine glass.

MORGANTOWN MARATHON – The 5th Annual Morgantown Marathon starts at 7 am on September 22. Proceeds benefit Operation Welcome Home (which helps veterans find employment) The fun begins at WVU Coliseum. To register go to: morgantownmarathon.com

ARTS WALK – On September 27th from 6-9 pm is the annual Arts Walk, located at Downtown Morgantown. This free event showcases a variety of art mediums from local artists.

PRESTON COUNTY BUCKWHEAT FESTIVAL- The Buckwheat Festival is celebrating it 78th year and will begin on September 26 through the 29th. At this festival, held in Kingwood , WV you will experience parades, car shows, arts & crafts, carnival rides, livestock, and buckwheat cakes and sausage all weekend long!

HOME RUN AND HOPS CRAFT BEER FESTIVAL – Beer lovers are invited to enjoy local craft beer, food and games on September 27 at the Monongalia County Ballpark

HOPS ON THE MON CRAFT BEER AND FOOD FESTIVAL – Sample a wide variety of breweries and food from local restaurants on September 28 on High Street from 3-7:00 pm. Tickets are $35.00 and you will be able to cast your vote for your favorites!
